Job Description:

m-tech1 is seeking a motivated and talented individual to join our team as a DevOps Intern. This internship program offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of DevOps and contribute to cutting-edge projects. As a DevOps Intern, you will work closely with our skilled DevOps professionals, assisting in the development, deployment, and maintenance of our software infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to support the software development life cycle and ensure the smooth integration of new features into existing systems.

• Assist in building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines, utilizing industry-standard tools and frameworks.

• Participate in the configuration and optimization of cloud-based infrastructure and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, etc.).

• Contribute to the implementation and enhancement of monitoring and logging systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure continuous integration and delivery practices are followed.

• Help identify and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance.

• Explore and evaluate emerging technologies and tools relevant to the DevOps domain, providing recommendations to enhance our processes.

• Document processes, procedures, and best practices to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Basic understanding of software development concepts, including version control systems (e.g., Git) and programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, or similar).

• Familiarity with Linux/Unix command-line environments and shell scripting.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Passion for learning new technologies and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

• Prior exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.) is a plus.

• Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.) is a plus.
